Fiddler's Elbow Brighton Irish pub

A Brighton staple when it comes to Guinness the lively Fiddler’s Elbow is a dedicated Irish pub on Boyce’s Street in The Lanes, serving some of the best Guinness in the city along with a whole range of beers from international pale ales to well-known English classics. It’s also well known for its live music, cracking prices and spectacular Summer street parties.

Every Monday night there's Live Traditional Irish Folk music with an alternating roster of performers so that all facets of Irish Folk are covered. One group has the pub rocking with Irish drinking songs by the likes of The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, & The Pogues. While the other collective offer a much more customary, genteel, instrumental “jam” that is serene and delightful.

Not content with the best Guinness in Brighton, The Fiddler’s Elbow has the best Open Mic in Brighton too! Starting at 8pm every Sunday and carrying on into the wee hours, prepare to bellow your self horse and belt out sing-a-long anthems of the highest order. And not forgetting the first Friday of every month when The Cracklin' Griffins bring the full Celtic experience to The Fiddler's Elbow with accordions, tin whistles, banjos, fiddles and a plethora of Irish drinking songs!

But its not just all music, It’s also the place to watch some of the biggest Gaelic football events live, along with International Rugby, football, Golf, Snooker, Cricket, American Football, to name but a few.
