Golden Pineapple

Golden Pineapple is a multi-award winning agave spirits specialist in the centre of the Laines. While tequila is the agave A-lister, mezcal’s recent boom in popularity may have already broadened your palette. At Golden Pineapple you can really refine your taste-buds to the full spectrum of agave’s offerings.

Golden Pineapple is a cool little Brighton gem with a penchant for all things agave, offering tequila and mezcal flights, agave-based cocktails and a curated collection of rare spirits you won't find anywhere else in Brighton.

For those not in the know, Agave describes a genus of plant with over 250 recognised varieties, all growing in the arid regions of the Americas - mostly Mexico. Once a holy plant for the Aztecs, it’s now the foundation of spirits such as tequila, mezcal, raicilla and bacanora. You’ll often see sotol in this category too, although it’s not technically an agave-based spirit, but produced from its cousin, Dasylirion - also part of the asparagus family.

Golden Pineapple shines a light on the plant's rich history, the traditional methods of processing it, and the regional differences at play through their tastings and events.

If you’re more of a practical learner, you can simply try one of their tequila and mezcal flights, or a delicious cocktail, and let your tastebuds do the hard work. The drinks here never disappoint - Golden Pineapple is well-appreciated by bartenders across Brighton’s hospitality crowd, which is a glowing review in itself.

At Golden Pineapple, you’ll also have the pleasure of tasting gyoza’s by the delectable Papa DumplingThe menu really spares no creative expense. We’re talking bold flavour combinations of buffalo chicken and blue cheese, PB&J, and Big Mac, all wrapped lovingly into their crispy shell. Rotating dessert dumpling options with hits like apple and blueberry pie served with chai custard, and specials such as the Hawaiian pizza gyoza. They’re out of this world.
