Lucky Voice has been a Brighton nightlife mainstay for roughly sixteen years, delivering a slice of Japanese karaoke culture just a stones-throw from the English Channel since 2009. Established in 2005, Lucky Voice was a very early contender in the UK’s night out experience genre and has found success ever since. 

With private karaoke rooms hosting up to 30 guests, you’re offered a nice compromise of letting loose with your friends while avoiding the embarrassment of a crowd of strangers picking apart your strained high-notes and dicier renditions. Their iconic ‘thirsty’ button alerts the staff when you’re running low on liquid courage, so there’s no need to miss a beat while visiting the bar. 

There’s roughly 13,000 songs to choose from, themed playlists if you get stuck, and an intuitive interface that keeps the music flowing freely even after a few too many drinks. 

On Saturdays, the fun can spill out of your booth and into the late-night party space, where you liberate control of the tunes to the DJ. There’s a spacious dance floor, bar tables and opportunity to mingle. Karaoke isn’t compulsory - you can book a table for food and drink in the bar if you simply enjoy the atmosphere.
