Baxter Dury @ Brighton Dome

Baxter Dury's new album Albarone is a fresh, reimagined and highly danceable feat of musical mastery unlike anything previous. 

This collaboration is a grand return for producer Paul Epworth (Adele!), in his first full album in over five years. It all came together as Dury toweled himself off after a rapturously recieved set at Glastonbury Festival 2024, and Epworth, inspired once more, approached. 

 “he drank some kind of Japanese drink, didn’t say anything about my songs, and instead just proceeded to make an entirely different kind of music. Those other songs became the elephant in the room, we never mentioned them again.”

Henceforth, two months of daily three hour album concocting stints resulted in this daring mashup of intensely move-provoking contemporary riffs and the absolute best of Baxter Dury's incisive lyricism - and it's coming to Brighton Dome, full force.
