Brighton Illustration Festival

Brighton Illustration Festival is the place to be as an aspiring creative. With a phenomenal collection of professional illustrators both exhibiting as well as hosting fantastic talks and workshops across both days, it's an enriching and truly valuable resource. 

A range of industry professionals will be hosting drop-in portfolio review sessions, helping fresh talent refine their work, offering insight, new confidence and direction from those already within the field. 

There's heaps of remarkable, hands-on workshops - from inventing your own urban cryptids, illustrating for table-top gaming, to making your own felt patches - among so much more. 

On top of this, there's a host of talks designed to set you up for success, teaching you about finding an agent, collaboration with agencies and the power of colour, just to name three. 

As if this weren't enough, there's also a screening of the Best of Pictoplasma 2025 Official Selection; you'll have a chance to see this year's most exceptional character-driven animated shorts.
