Brighton Mod Weekender 2026

Brighton Mod Weekender is back this August Bank Holiday, from Thu 27th – Sun 30th August and is packed with live music, club nights, and DJs and all things mod culture!

Since 2005 Brighton Mod Weekender has been the symbolic destination of the original Mod annual pilgrimage  and every August bank holiday, Madeira Drive fills with chrome and mirrors and the city briefly looks like 1964 again. Daytime events are held at the Volks and evening events at Komedia, which suits the occasion with a big maple dancefloor, two bars that stay open late, and air conditioning you will be so grateful for by the second all-nighter!

This year’s events include live music from The Rifles + Maze, Child Of Panoptes + The Fourty Fours, The Capellas, Benson Gibbons & The Sapphires. DJs are Rob Bailey & Lee Miller, Chris Dale + special guests Sean Chapman, Alan Handscombe, Niamh Lynch, Russell Deal, Jake Robson, Andy Hill, Charlotte Lewis, Charles Simpson, Alan Saunders, Dave & Lee Grimshaw, Oliver Nyikos, Riley Gillard & Logan Menard.

Daytime events are at the Volks, where the scooters arrive in the iconic film Quadrophenia, run from noon until 6pm. Enjoy DJs and a market selling records, vintage and bespoke clothes, art, and memorabilia. There's also a scooter competition and ride out on Sunday afternoon (meeting at the Roedean Café car park on A259 opposite Brighton Marina between 1.30-2pm).
