Cyanotypes with Nina Garstang

This one-day cyanotype workshop with talented artist Nina Garstang will take you on a journey through the magic of cyanotype printing - one of the oldest and most magical photographic printing techniques. 

Using just light-sensitive cyanotype fluid, light, water, you'll transform physical object to image. A range of materials and negatives are provided to experiment with, but you're also encouraged to bring your own - fabrics, plants, translucent materials, jewellery - anything small or partly transparent that might suit the exposure process. 

You'll learn the history and science of the practice before diving into technique. At the end of the day, everyone will have a series of prints to take home.
