Experience Family Day: Take Part, a free BIPOC-led celebration of creativity, culture and community in Brighton, packed with arts activities, live performances and welcoming workshops for every age.
Take part in a vibrant, BIPOC-led, family-centred day celebrating creativity, culture and community. With an absolute overflow of exciting talks, stalls, workshops and activities, Family Day will be spread across three venues - Brighton Dome, the Brighton & Hove Museum, and Jubilee Library.
All are welcome and entry is free! Throughout the day you'll be offered the opportunity to dip in and out of curated workshops exploring art, poetry, music, dance and storytelling.
Some of the highlights include Kankurang masquerade performances, the launch of Species Story - a nature writing project for children in partnership with the South Downs National Park Authority, a poetry reading by Remi Graves and a headline performance by Brazilian singer João Selva.
