Make it a Christmas to remember as The Festival of Light presents British Icons with Wallace & Gromit and friends! Meet fan-favourite characters from Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit and more while you journey to some of the UK’s most famous landmarks, marvel at native wildlife and sights, all spectacularly reimagined in lantern form. Opening on 8th November 2025 and running through 11th January 2026, this magical experience transforms the historic Longleat estate into a dazzling wonderland of light and color.

A Unique Lantern Experience
Explore London walking under a breathtaking 15m tall Tower Bridge — travel through Stonehenge and to Shaun the Sheep’s own Mossy Bottom Farm. Marvel at the spectacular Welsh dragon before heading to Blackpool and then journey to Scotland and Giant’s Causeway as well as West Wallaby Street to meet Wallace and Gromit on their adventures — come along lad!
The Festival of Light will also be marking the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, focusing on writers, celebrating British native wildlife and landscapes, and presenting iconic singers through the decades. All this and so much more awaits on this awe-inspiring lantern experience, bigger and better than ever!
Enchanted Christmas Tree Show
Standing at over 15 metres tall, fitted with four snow-making machines and illuminated with over 88,000 twinkling lights – this is a spectacular display of light you do not want to miss!
Santa Train
All aboard for the North Pole! A trip on our Santa Train is the perfect way to make this Christmas extra magical. Meet Santa in his special workshop, make friends with elves and share in unforgettable family moments together.
Festive House Tours
Step back in time with a wonderfully festive guided tour of Longleat House. Beautifully dressed for Christmas, the House will feature traditional decorations and numerous Christmas trees.
As ever there's so much more to explore, drive round the Winter Safari to see tigers, lions, wolves and many other species. Sail across Half Mile Pond on a Boat Safari to meet the new pod of hippos, gorillas, Colobus monkeys and sea lions. Discover the mysterious Bat Cave. Unleash your imagination in the Adventure Castle and get lost in Britain's biggest maze.
