Nothing says a hipster hang-out spot quite like a café-come-laundrette, but for pancakes, company and clean clothes, visit At the Well on Cheltenham Road. Whilst your whites and darks spin in one of their handy washing machines, sit down to enjoy their transatlantic pancakes or American pancakes with bacon and blueberries. Both are served with light, thick and fluffy US pancakes, and both come with a liberal dose of maple syrup. The transatlantic dish features scrambled eggs, mushrooms and bacon for an extremely filling brunch option.

Doing exactly what it says on the tin, the Crepe and Coffee Cabin offers tasty coffees and delicious crepes on the banks of the city’s canal. This tiny cabin certainly doesn’t offer a spot to sit down and relax, but if you’re hoping to grab a speedy crepe on your travels around Bristol then here’s your top spot. Both savoury and sweet crepes are, of course, on the menu, including a sweet apple and cinnamon creation and a savoury cheese, chicken and bacon!

Their award-winning brunch is served all day, featuring meaty full English dishes, loads of stuff-on-toast and, of course, a couple portions of hearty pancakes. These American style pancakes come alongside bacon, maple syrup and maple butter or blueberry compote, vanilla yoghurt and maple butter, both costing a considerable £7.50! We’re totally fascinated by this maple butter creation and reckon you should get down there to try it out.

This popular bike shop and café often attracts huge crowds of cyclists in its sunny outdoor terrace, and therefore offers heaps of high-energy brunch dishes to fuel people up for their journey home! Their buttermilk pancakes come in hearty stacks, with the Nutella, banana and hazelnut taking the biscuit for our fave option. For an extra 50p you can make your pancakes gluten free - the only gluten free pancakes we can spot in your city!
