We get it - December was full on right? The mince pies, the roast dinners, the chocolates - not to mention the cocktails! Sometimes it's good to take a break from all the heavy meals and skew our eating towards more healthy and sustainable meals. Meat eater or vegan? Don’t worry, we’ve got something for you.
1) The Metropolitan

Opening in December 2022, The Metropolitan has taken over the former site of Cafe Du Jour. Citing a strong culinary Asian influence with an abundance of fresh ingredients, the food is refined and clean, the portions generous and highlighting humble local seasonal wonders such as coal-roasted leeks or squash curry.
The quality extends beyond the food with local roasters Clifton Coffee providing the beans for some seriously tasty hot drinks. We look forward to sunny days in the soon-to-be-completed back patio sipping on something fresh…
