This year Bristol has a whole host of Christmas markets to choose from so, wrap up warm and enjoy the sights and sound of the market.
Bristol Christmas Market
This year, the Bristol Christmas Market will be better than ever. Alongside all the bars and stalls we know and love there will be some brand new spots for enjoying some fantastic festive food and drink. And of course there will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family including that all important visit from Santa himself. More than 40 stalls are expected this year selling an array of unique gifts, crafts and seasonal treats. The food offerings will feature customer favourites from German Bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, hog roast and even noodles, to coffee and doughnuts, churros, crepes, crumble, and more.
If you're a music lover, the Jäger Barn Bar will host a selection of live music from local performers from Thursdays to Sundays and the brand-new Glissè Bar, located at the opposite end of the market will offers a range of festive drinks. Or why not book a classic Ski Gondola and one of the brand new hot air balloon booths nestled within the Jäger Barn Bar where you can enjoy a festive food platter and drinks.

St Nick's Christmas Market
Located in a Grade I listed building, St. Nick’s Christmas Market runs every year in the 6 weeks leading up to Christmas, offering a range of gifts from some of Bristol's best independent makers and traders. The Indoor Market is home to over 60 independent retailers that sell a mixture of gifts, offering something a little different and more personal than you might find on the High Street.
This year they are hosting their very own Christmas grotto just off the foyer of the Exchange Building. St Nick is ready to put his feet up and give out gifts after a long winter of preparation!
With three unique areas of the market, why not make a day of it and really soak up the Christmas spirit? The Covered Market is home toa variety of self-contained businesses including books, records and gifts whilst The Exchange Hall houses an eclectic array of stalls from jewellery to hot sauce. You're sure to find the perfect gifts for your loved ones this Christmas at St Nicks. Plus no visit to Bristol's most historic market would be complete without visiting the Glass Arcade eateries for delicious festive food and drink.

Some 200 talented designers and makers from across Bristol will showcase their work, providing visitors with a wonderful opportunity to shop local and support the city’s artistic community.
Made in Bristol curates a diverse array of handcrafted products from talented local artisans, featuring local designers, knitters, woodworkers and ceramicists. Each stall bursts with personality, inviting shoppers to discover individual, special gifts whilst engaging directly with the makers. As a cherished tradition among locals, the fair boasts a lively atmosphere filled with live demonstrations and interactive workshops, a true celebration of Bristol’s creativity. Christmas Fair: Open Art Studios & Makers Market
Estate of the Arts are thrilled to announce they are back for 2025, returning with an even bigger and bolder celebration! Market traders will be offering their unique creations, while resident artists will showcase their full range of talents across various mediums, making it an unforgettable way to spend a winter's day. With entertainment, hot food, festive shopping, and art studios to explore throughout the site, it's a perfect Christmas day out. Over 30 stalls and studios will be open each day, featuring Bristol and South West creatives. There will be a wide array of handmade or carefully sourced goods for those perfect Christmas gifts including: Ceramics; Artwork; Fashion; Homewares; Woodwork and so much more! Additionally, there will be live entertainment from Bristol-based musicians and performers.
