21 July 2018 –  9 September 2018 |

Don’t miss this summer’s biggest science adventure, Mission Mega Machine at Milestones Museum, Basingstoke.

From 21 July – 9 September, come along and learn about inventions and innovations developed in Hampshire, such as the Spitfire and Taskers engines, as well as all about steam, hovercraft and flight. A fully interactive exhibition for all ages, there’s a fun trail to follow as you take on the Mega Machine Mission to beat the aliens and save the planet.

On top of all this, there’s plenty of extra activities to take part in, why not make your own hovercraft† and try out ours? Book a rocket workshop and build your own rocket† to launch outside. Or try our virtual reality Spitfire simulator† to feel what it’s really like to fly a plane.

Admission to Mission Mega Machine is included in your standard ticket. What’s more, with our new “Pay Once, Visit All Year” admission ticket, you can come back as many times as you like within the next 12 months for free.*

There are many more things to enjoy, make sure you book your place now:
- Follow the interactive trail and take part in hands-on science fun along the way. Collect your FREE guidebook on entry.
- Rocket building workshop†: make your own rocket and launch it. Every other weekend, weather dependent.
- Hovercraft experience† every day. Learn all about hovercrafts plus make and take your own hovercraft and have a short ride on ours.
