The Importance of Being Ernest at Oxford Town Hall

The Importance of Being Ernest at Oxford Town Hall

Split Second Productions are bringing Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Ernest" to Oxford Town Hall!

As part of their UK Tour, Split Second Productions are bringing their "gloriously funny" rewiring of Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest' to Oxford's Town Hall on Sunday 3rd June for performances at both 2:30PM and 7:30PM. The "wild and wicked reimagining" is co-directed by Bryan Hodgson (UK Tour; Off West End) and Jaq Bessel (of The Globe/RSC/West End).

Already one of our nation’s funniest plays, the “exhilarating” Split Second Productions is making its unique mark with their “ingenious” re-telling of the story where two actors will play every single character. Rapid quick-changes, tap dancing, fabulous frocks and enough tea to sink a ship, audiences are in for a wildly waggish time. It's Oscar Wilde's classic as you've never seen it before!

The Importance of Being Ernest is playing Oxford Town Hall on 3 June at 14:30 and 19:30.
