Bristol’s Top 5 New Year Celebrations

21 December 2018 |

There ain't no party like a Bristolian party – so don't miss out on these festive fiestas, from open air pool-dipping to fireside cocktail-sipping!

For Party Animals – Prehistoric Pop Party at Thekla
The Thekla is Bristol’s only music venue and nightclub on a boat! Celebrate the passage of time by travelling back to a land of prehistoric creatures, mythical plants and primitive mankind where they play everything from toe-tapping live Americana to the downright dirtiest dubstep this side of London.

This New Year, Thekla has been overrun with a mystical jungle, filled with giant predators, warring tribes and huge man-eating plants. Fancy dress is highly encouraged, think: Dinosaur, Jesus, Ape, Cave-person, Mythical Creature or Explorer.

After a traditional Cuban welcome with the Cuban dancers, get yourself sat down for a delicious three-course meal, complemented by a live Latino band. Guests can expect to be dazzled by a spectacular magician, and Salsa and Cuban dancers. The Cuban is sure to amaze and entertain you.

Tickets are £52 and include bubbly, meal, entertainment from dancers, fire breathers, stilt walkers, magicians… ¡Qué bueno!
