Winter is coming! Wrap up warm and get a chocolatey hit with these indulgent hot drinks

Spotlight on: Black Mocha

103 Gloucester Road, Brighton, BN1 4AP

Now that the weather has started to turn and the days are getting colder, head down to Black Mocha for a warming hot chocolate to perk you up. Just a short walk from Brighton train station, we’d cast no judgement on you picking one up before the morning commute. This artisan coffee and brunch spot takes its name from their signature hot chocolate and coffee combo - the black mocha. They create a fresh batch of 70% Dark hot chocolate every morning, combining it with a shot of espresso to create their famous black mocha. Most mocha’s contain frothy latte milk; however, this straight drink is a no nonsenses treat that’ll pep you up and perk you up thanks to caffeine and tasty chocolate.

Not a fan of coffee? Stick to the good stuff and enjoy one of their pure hot chocolates instead. The 70% dark is available without the mocha element for £3 and is completely vegan. You can also enjoy the 40% milk hot chocolate, or a decadent mug of white chocolate blended with nutmeg and cinnamon! Customise your drink with whipped cream, marshmallows or even shards of honeycomb, and feel free to enjoy these with soy, almond or oat milk! Their autumn 2019 specials are also offering some truly delightful flavour combinations, including chilli dark chocolate, ginger spiced milk chocolate and chai white chocolate!
