Fox and Firkin up the summer antics by again hosting the beloved Deptford Dub Club. Jam it like back in the old days, with £3 tickets and mega mega sound systems.
Fox & Firkin really can't keep doing this. They have the absolute best summer calendar already, they really didn't have to top it off with their own Deptford Dub Club.
Following an electrifying spring performance, Duke Neville, “The Rocksteady Teacher”, returns to the decks with his unparalleled collection of rare ska, rocksteady, and early reggae gems. A cornerstone of London’s reggae revival scene, Duke’s legacy spans the 70s General Soundsystem era, legendary Peckings record auctions, and his revered Neville Sounds imprint.
Teaming up with longtime collaborator Sweet C (formerly Steady C), the duo rekindles the magic of their Alpha B sound system days, delivering the same fiery energy that once lit up London’s town halls, house parties, and clubs. Their set promises a masterclass in Jamaican golden-age rhythms, handpicked from decades of digging.
The vibes are further elevated by sing-jay Doc Murdoc (fresh off touring with Black Uhuru) and resident selector Soft Wax. The expanded D.D.C. horn section, featuring crowd favorites Natty and Tombone, brings brass-fired intensity, while Prince Fatty works his live mixing wizardry on a powerhouse sound system. AND for the price of just a fiver on the door, three quid prebooked.
It's gonna be a big one gang. We'll see you there!
