Deptford Dub Club - at Fox & Firkin
Deptford Dub Club returns to Fox & Firkin with more special guests, cheaper tickets, and heavier dubs for this special sound system celebration.

After finishing off a massive summer of programming, the heads at Fox and Firkin go one step further in hosting once more the Deptford Dub Club on the equinox.
The evening will close with a heavyweight session from Ras Danny Dread, a foundational figure in the UK soundsystem culture widely known for his decades-long work with the legendary Jah Shaka Soundsystem. A stalwart of The Deptford Dub Club, his selections carry deep authority and spiritual resonance.
They are joined by Drop da Biscuit, a respected selector on the London revival circuit known for his meticulously curated boxes and influential podcast series. Resident DJ Soft Wax, whose musical journey was shaped by foundational releases like Natty Rebel and Meets the Aggrovators at the Dub Station, will also feature, anchoring the night in classic dub and roots traditions.
The music will be amplified by live vocals from singjay Doc Murdoc and the powerful D.D.C. Horns led by Tombone and Natty, with special guest performers expected throughout the night. Earlier sets will feature an eclectic mix of rocksteady, ska, and classic Jamaican sounds, all expertly live-mixed by Prince Fatty on the desk.
The vibes are further elevated by sing-jay Doc Murdoc (fresh off touring with Black Uhuru) and resident selector Soft Wax. The expanded D.D.C. horn section, featuring crowd favorites Natty and Tombone, brings brass-fired intensity, while Prince Fatty works his live mixing wizardry on a powerhouse sound system. AND for the price of just a fiver on the door, three quid prebooked.
Once again, it's gonna be a big one. We'll see you there!
