Lo-fi house stalwart DJ BORING comes through with a very rare and very special live set at the befittingly-industrial Village Underground.
Despite the name, the music of DJ Boring (Australian-born, London-based producer Tristan Hallis) is far from mundane. He first captured online attention with the spacey, sample-driven lo-fi house of his 2017 EPs Sunday Avenue and Different Dates, most notably with the viral hit 'Winona'. His sound pairs hazy, atmospheric melodies with driving, industrial-tinged basslines.
A dynamic DJ, his energetic Boiler Room sets showcase a versatile range, bouncing seamlessly from Belgian techno to funk-infused house.
Coming through with a rare live set, this will be DJ Boring at his most tantalising, a DJ set combined with a live set, the perfect way to show off the versatility of his sound.
