This performance as part of EFG London Jazz Festival 2025 at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens promises to be a powerful journey through sound, spirit, and connection, led by one of Europe’s most dynamic jazz bassists and composers, Jasper Høiby. Born in Denmark and based in London, Høiby has earned huge international acclaim for his fearless creativity and virtuosic playing.

Renowned for his work with the influential trio Phronesis, as well as his boundary-pushing ensemble Fellow Creatures, Jasper Høiby has become a vital force in modern jazz. His music is a fusion of lyrical beauty, rhythmic complexity, and an unwavering social conscience. Always seeking new terrain, Høiby’s recent projects reflect a deepening commitment to environmental and philosophical themes, exploring the intersections of music, collective awareness, and change.

Hosted in the intimate, acoustically rich setting of World Heart Beat, Saturday 22 November, the concert will be a celebration of collaboration, improvisation, and cross-generational exchange. Høiby is joined by a variety of special guests — rising stars and masterful improvisers who each bring their unique voice to the conversation.

Expect bold grooves, intricate interplay, and moments of quiet transcendence, whether delving into new compositions or reimagining earlier works, Høiby and his guests channel jazz as a living, breathing language – one that speaks to today’s challenges with hope and urgency.

World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens is proud be a host venue once again at EFG London Jazz Festival 2025.
