Lady Mayor's Show 2026

The 2025 Show will be held on 8 November 2025, from 11am to about 2:30pm in the City of London

History

There is nothing quite like the Lady Mayor’s Show  – it’s the oldest civic procession in the world and for the first time in its 800-year history, the Lord Mayor’s Show will become the Lady Mayor’s Show, marking a historic milestone for the City of London. Dame Susan Langley DBE, elected as the 697th Lord Mayor of London, is the third woman to hold the role and the first to adopt the title "Lady Mayor." It is a fantastic spectacle that winds its way from the City of London to the City of Westminster ... and back again!

Procession

The 2025 Lady Mayor’s Show has over 7000 participants from 100 organisations in a procession more than three miles long. Look out for the giant inflatable ribs, the Cinderella carriage of the Glass Sellers, the lycra-clad dancing Solicitors, and the newly restored Bluebird K7 accompanied by Donald Campbell’s daughter Gina. There are representatives of all three armed forces alongside youth organisations from around the world, and 16 marching bands to keep the whole thing in time. The centrepiece and absolute highlight as always is the state coach the Lady Mayor will travel in on the day – showing themself to the people, which was the original purpose of the Day, along with swearing an Oath of Allegiance to the sovereign at the Royal Courts of Justice.

It's free to stand and watch the procession pretty much anywhere along the route, and around 350,000 are expected to turn up to do so this year!
