London Canal Museum Carols & Ices
An evening of Christmas Carols and Christmas ice cream - a unique Museum late.
Do not miss a truly unique evening Christmas event for adults on 11th December 2025 at London Canal Museum. Listen to Christmas carols in the candle-lit museum, drifting up from the ice well and enjoy a demonstration of making Christmas ice cream, Edwardian style - learn how it was done before refrigeration, and have a taste! There will also be short boat trips on the canal to see the beautiful lights of King's Cross - which need to be booked in advance.
About Carols and Ices
- From 1800 to 2100 on 11th December 2025
- Carols in the ice well - Look down into the illuminated ice well where singers will sing Christmas carols at intervals.
- Ice cream making, Edwardian style. A tribute to Mrs Agnes B. Marshall, the Edwardian queen of ice-cream making Christmas ice cream using ice and salt without a freezer. Sweet mincemeat flavour!
- Free mince pie
- A pay bar will be available offering beer and wine. Bar open 1800-2030.
- Candle lighting and atmospheric lighting in the historic building
- Doors open 1800 (slightly earlier if you. Last entry 2030 - but come earlier if you can!
- Short boat trips on Long Tom at 1800 1830 1900 1930 2000 and 2030 - pre-booking essential
- An opportunity for Christmas shopping in the museum shop.
Tickets are £10 per person without a boat trip - £14 with a pre-booked short boat trip
