This month, come and join our forest school-inspired Friday Froglets sessions with your children. Play in nature, learn new songs and share stories, make nature crafts and finish with quiet time around a fire! Fun for children and adults alike.

Wetland Wellbeing Workshop – Basic Shelter Building, 25 January
Come and learn new skills and enjoy time in nature at our beautiful Wetland Centre. Learn to make a basic A-frame shelter and how to set up a guy line with a truckers hitch and bowline knot. Finishing with time around a fire!
Suitable for: Adults aged 18+. Price: £5

Winter Bird Walk 1 February
WWT London Wetland Centre is a marvellous location for bird watching and, at this time of year, for "bird listening" too! As songbirds declare their territories and attempt to attract a mate they're often hidden away in the dense foliage of trees or reed beds. So, getting to know them by the sounds they make is very handy whatever your level of interest in birds and wildlife. In this 1½ hour session you'll learn how to identify birds through song, guided by one of our experts through useful tips, notes and fieldwork.
Time: 8:30 am - 10:00 am (Duration: 90 mins)
