Founded in 2019 by internationally renowned DJ and producer Nikki Beatnik (Beatnik Records, Ministry of Sound, Kelis Tour DJ), MUMS THAT RAVE (MTR) was created as a daytime club experience designed for women, particularly mothers, to reclaim their space in nightlife. The concept offers a safe, inclusive environment where attendees can dress up, dance freely, and connect with others, all while finishing early so women can get home safely and soundly.
Since its launch, MTR has grown into a vibrant movement, hosting 23 real-life raves, live DJ streams, podcast episodes, and panel discussions. With 60,000+ social media followers and 80 million views across platforms, the brand has become a cultural phenomenon.
The events are celebratory and transformative, welcoming mothers (and non-mums alike) to let loose to a genre-spanning soundtrack of hip-hop, R&B, drum & bass, house, garage, dancehall, Afrobeats, and classic anthems.
