Leading UK trio closes the year with special London show.
Last year, pianist and composer Neil Cowley announced the “un-pressing of the pause” ending his trio’s 7-year hiatus. Alongside a magnificent new recording, Entity and a sold-out London ‘come back’ show, the Neil Cowley Trio embarked on a 12-date tour this spring. Their Kings Place debut on 5 December brings the Entity Tour to a close for the year, before it continues to Europe, paving the way for an exciting new project in 2026.
The show sees Cowley reunited with his close musical allies — bassist Rex Horan and drummer Evan Jenkins — to perform music from Entity alongside a selection of Cowley classics: dynamic works with thrilling crescendos, dreamy melodies, majestic and introspective, heart-wrenching and heart-pounding in equal measure.
Cowley is a brilliant composer and dazzling pianist, and the trio flame still burns bright. For this special London show, head-nodding wonky grooves, dynamic works with thrilling crescendos sit side by side with deeply impassioned tender music of glass-like fragility — heart-wrenching and heart-pounding in equal measure.
