“Success for all parents has perhaps the greatest of consequences. It ensures the future of life on our planet.”— Sir David Attenborough

Parenthood is a breathtaking new natural history TV series revealing the extraordinary strategies animal parents use to give their young the best start in life and the surprisingly familiar struggle to raise the next generation. Filmed over three years in over 60 locations across six continents and narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the series brims with engaging character stories and astonishing animal behaviours, many of which have never been seen before. From Orcas teaching their calves to hunt Blue Whales, to Orangutans building bedtime nests, to Hippos guiding their families through the dangers of the African night – the world-class natural history storytelling producer Silverback Films (an All3Media company), captured every gripping moment with cinematic brilliance.

Bringing the acclaimed TV series to life, Parenthood in Concert is a world premiere and one-off special event at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 12 February 2026.

Parenthood in Concert features special guest, pop powerhouse Sam Ryder, performing Go Steady, the Top 20 hit and theme song from the series, co-written with Tom Howe, the 100+ Emmy and BAFTA-winning composer of the series’ original, emotive score. Narrated by actor Nick MohammedParenthood in Concert features a live performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra who bring their energy and excellence to Howe’s score, performed alongside expertly edited, visually stunning highlights from the five-part BBC TV series.

Parenthood is the definitive wildlife series on life’s greatest challenge. Underscored by the epic sounds of the orchestra, Howe’s rich, dramatic score captures not only the tenderness of animal parenting but also its unsettling realities. Performed live, his bittersweet music combined with the spectacular film sequences creates a profoundly moving and immersive experience.
