Explore a landmark exhibition of contemporary art featuring rare works by over 40 artists from 25 countries across the Asia-Pacific region at V&A South Kensington. Drawing on more than three decades of the Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Rising Voices offers a rich and expansive view of one of the world’s most dynamic creative landscapes.

Bringing together over 70 works spanning sculpture, photography, painting, ceramics, weaving and body adornment, many exhibited in the UK for the first time, the exhibition foregrounds First Nations perspectives and reflects the interconnected, evolving cultures of the region today.

Across geographies and communities, Rising Voices explores changing relationship to the past, revealing both diversity and commonality in art making across the region. It marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing dialogue between local and international perspectives that the Asia Pacific Triennial has championed for over three decades.
