Sílvia Pérez Cruz
Catalan songstress returns to London with her distinctive blend of Iberian, Latin American, jazz & flamenco music.
Catalan singer-songwriter Sílvia Pérez Cruz returns to London for a performance at Union Chapel on 6th February 2026, bringing her distinctive blend of Iberian, Latin American, jazz and flamenco influences to one of the city’s most atmospheric venues.
Described by Jorge Drexler as possessing “a voice that marks a generation”, Pérez Cruz is one of the most captivating artists in contemporary music. Rooted in Catalan, Iberian and Latin American traditions, and shaped by her training in jazz and classical music, her work blends elements of folk, flamenco and fado into a sound that defies easy categorisation.
In 2022 Pérez Cruz received Spain’s National Prize for Contemporary Music, and earlier this year earned a Latin Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Residente on the song ‘313’. In April 2023, she released the widely acclaimed album Toda la vida, un día, featuring collaborations with Natalia Lafourcade and Salvador Sobral, among others. Pérez Cruz has since performed music from the album at over 80 concerts throughout 2023 and 2024, touring numerous countries in Europe, South America, Asia and the United States.
