Now in its fourth year at the Windmill Brixton, the DIY folk-punk festival promises a characteristically chaotic and vibrant celebration of the underground, hosted by Gary Paradiso.

The lineup features the eight-person industrial folk collective MPTL Microplastics, who perform what they describe as chronoplastic ballads and folk music for a polymer people. They are joined by David Cronenberg's Wife, fresh from a UK tour with antifolk legend Jeffrey Lewis, who will deliver their signature bizarre narratives involving Lot's daughters, the president of Kazakhstan, and mermaid erotica.

The bill also includes Frank Lloyd Wleft and his country songs for driverless trucks; En Heat, who infuse disco into their antifolk roots; and the stalwart Spinmaster Plantpot, known for his punk-rock poetry and cappella comedy. The Faux Fibbers will offer songs about booze, madness, and aliens, while Philadelphia's Adam Rivera brings his own antifolk stylings.

Rounding out the event are Trailer Crash, a garage band featuring mandolin and banjo; Numberdan with his lo-fi, cerebral compositions; and Amelia Blackwell, whose performance is expected to be raw, shimmery, and intensely alt-folk.
