Time to hear some comedy the other way round: immigrants complaining about the British. Leave your sensitive skin at home and have a laugh!
You've heard it all before. From comedians telling racists jokes for decades, to the Tory rags and politicians condemning the ‘scourge’ of immigration. But how about some fairness? Let's level out the playing field a bit, and let the immigrants have their say!
In complaining about the British, they have ample material. It may shock some of us Brits, but like anyone else, we're not perfect, we have our problems, and there's nothing like an outside perspective to let you know who you truly are. They say travelling broadens the mind, but you can get a similar broadening from the outside looking in.
Like any comedy show, it's best to not be sensitive. It's a comedy show after all. And after years of years of racist abuse on mainstream comedy and Blackface on primetime BBC, it's only reasonable to let them have a little stab back.
If you're natively British, come see what it's like to be an immigrant in this country constantly being made fun of and chastised by mainstream press. If you're not natively British, or have heritage from elsewhere, come point the finger! It's gonna be a romp.
