This compelling exhibition examines freshwater as both a life source and a determinant of global health. Tracing water's impact from ancient civilizations to modern megacities, it reveals how societies have harnessed, and mismanaged, our most precious resource, with consequences ranging from disease outbreaks to ecosystem collapse.

Featuring 125 objects spanning historical artifacts, scientific instruments, and contemporary artworks, "Thirst" boasts a lot: documentaries of water crises by Gideon Mendel, Architectural interventions by Adib Dada, Indigenous conservation practices captured by Karan Shrestha, and immersive installations from Raqs Media Collective.

The show contrasts humanity's dependence on water with innovative community-led solutions, offering a visceral exploration of our most vital resource.

The exhibition is accompanied by the book of the same name, featuring leading writers Robert Macfarlane, Elif Shafak and Lucy Jones.
