Following a year-long redevelopment, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club has opened its new upstairs music venue: Upstairs at Ronnie’s. The space has been completely transformed as a purpose-designed, intimate auditorium. The new Upstairs programme presents a mix of jazz, contemporary soul, acoustic R&B, gospel, musical theatre, hip-hop, global music, classical performances and more.
Highlights over the next few months include include the incredible London guitarist and singer Oscar Jerome, performing material from his third solo album, The Fork, Internationally acclaimed harpist Alina Bzhezhinska and legendary saxophonist Tony Kofi present Whispers of Rain (Live) - a powerful reimagining of Alina’s recent studio album. Triple MOBO Award-winning rapper Guvna B, British soul singer Tony Momrelle, multi-award–winning Kele Le Roc whose voice helped define UK R&B and Garage, genre-blurring cellist and singer Ayanna Witter-Johnson, rising star British saxophonist Emma Rawicz, the 2026 Jazz FM Awards’ Breakthrough Act of the Year Donovan Haffner, an alto saxophonist born and raised in South-East London, one of the UK’s most revered singers Vanessa Haynes, one of the UK’s freshest new jazz groups vocal trio Flight Call featuring Georgia Cécile, Lucy-Anne Daniels, and Pete Horsfall, and Detroit’s Queen of the Blues Thornetta Davis who has earned international acclaim for her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence.
Plus regular shows including every first Sunday of the month the brand-new Ronnie Scott’s Gospel Choir, led by the incomparable maestro Daniel Thomas, the club’s new Piano Trio Series featuring shows from Dominic J Marshall, Reuben James, and more, and the first-ever Vocal Jazz Jam held every Wednesday night hosted by pianist Jamie Safir with three of the UK’s finest jazz voices on rotation - Natalie Williams, Emma Smith and Georgia Cécile. The evening offers a platform for rising vocal talent to share the stage at one of the world’s most iconic jazz clubs.
