YFX 2026: A Festival of Young Dance

YFX is BACK for a second year at Sadlers Wells East from 14 July - 18 July - a week-long celebration of young dancers, makers and movers from across the UK.

In the theatre there are performances from National Youth Dance Company, Boy Blue's youth companies in Generation:Next, the next generation of hip hop dancers and the Making Moves National Platform, Sadler’s Wells’ nationwide choreography and performance project.

Meanwhile expect takeovers on The Dance Floor from Academy Breakin' Convention and Resonance Dance, performances from East London's young dancers in YFX Local, and the explosive Boy Blue Youth Frontline Battle, with guest judges and DJs and prizes to be won!

Plus there will be free workshops from Boy Blue, Far From The Norm, Uchenna Dance, Studio Wayne McGregor, Hofesh Shechter Company and Sadlers Wells very own Academy Breakin’ Convention. 

So get ready for performances, workshops, epic dance battles and talks - you don't want miss it.
