There's nothing better than lazing in the sun, somewhere where there's plenty of food and drink on hand. Discover our top South London restaurants where you can bask outdoors….

One of the positives to take from the past few years has definitely been the rise of outdoor dining. Though the weather might not always hold up, when the suns out it’s worth soaking up every second of it. With beer gardens and a common nod to al-fresco dining, we’ve rounded up South London’s hotspots for grabbing a bite outside (permanent sunshine not guaranteed)…

But the outside area is the real star of the show, with large screens showing big sport matches such as football and the Wimbledon final. If watching sport brings out your competitive streak, there is 9-hole mini golf course courtesy of Plonk. Worked up an appetite? Well don’t fret, as White Men Can’t Jerk are on site offering delicious Caribbean food with a twist. Expect curried mutton shepherd’s pie, Red Stripe-poached chicken wings, and their signature jerk chicken cooked on their bespoke smoking grill.
