Two of London's biggest days out, brought to you by Ellipsis, are on offer this summer. Come experience either the explosive history of London or its apocalyptic end.
Firstly, The Gunpowder Plot is an immersive experience that throws you into the belly of treason. Transport yourself back to 1605, where a mix of live-action and digital technology puts you in the drivers seat of the tale. You, the main character, will sift through traitors and betrayers to uncover the truth, with Tom Felton playing Guy Fawkes as part of the digital cast. A perfect day out for the little ones as well as those historically inclined.
And secondly, Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds, touted as "the only place in London where you can experience a real Martian invasion". Not so real that you lose your home and your family in the process, but real enough to bump your adrenaline beyond the Doctor's recommendation. 24 interactive scenes, 1 hour 50 minutes run time with Jeff Wayne's iconic score in the background, the experience combines live action, virtual reality, and multi-sensory effects to form a fully immersive adventure.
This week, Culture Calling is offering a £15 discount of each of these events until the 16th of April. The offer expires on the 15th so get in quickly if you want to save big on your day out! For The Gunpowder Plot, click HERE, and for The War of the Worlds, click HERE.
