It was a fabulous first night, 24 June 2025, when Disney’s Hercules officially opened in London at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The cast and creative team gathered, along with stars including, Dame Elaine Paige, Cush Jumbo, Sarah Hadland, Frank Skinner, Gaby Roslin, Shanay Holmes, Georgina Onuorah, Heather Agyepong, Ben Clare, Jane Asher and Simon Lipkin to name a few.
Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music by Disney Legend Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and co-choreography by Tanisha Scott, Hercules delivers a thrilling night out and is now booking until 28 March 2026.
Starring Luke Brady (The Prince of Egypt) as Hercules and Mae Ann Jorolan (Hercules, Aladdin) as Meg. The Five Muses are Candace Furbert (The Book of Mormon) as Thalia, Sharlene Hector (Hairspray) as Clio, Brianna Ogunbawo (The Lion King) as Melpomene, Malinda Parris (Mary Poppins) as Calliope, and Robyn Rose-Li (The Baker’s Wife) as Terpsichore. Kamilla Fernandes (Grease) is Standby Muse. The show also stars Trevor Dion Nicholas (Hadestown, Hamilton,) as Phil, Stephen Carlile (The Lion King) as Hades, and Craig Gallivan (Frozen) and Lee Zarrett (My Fair Lady) as Bob and Charles.
