Something About April III - Adrian Younge
Jazz Is Dead founder Adrian Younge to perform in the UK for the first time in six years!

Emmy Award-winning, self-taught multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Adrian Younge will take his Something About April project to Manchester on November 20th and KOKO as part of London Jazz Festival on November 21st.
Acclaimed composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Adrian Younge returns to the UK for the first time in six years this November for two rare live performances. Known for his devotion to analog sound and his pioneering fusion of psychedelic soul, jazz, and Brazilian influences, Younge will perform with a 10-piece orchestra to showcase his Something About April trilogy, including Something About April III - the final chapter of his Brazil-inspired psychedelic soul project.
Founder of the fully analog recording label and studio, Linear Labs, Younge is committed to preserving the warmth and depth of vintage sound producing groundbreaking music for luminaries including Ghostface Killah, Cee Lo, Snoop Dogg, Souls of Mischief, Bilal and The Delfonics. In addition to his work at Linear Labs, Younge co-founded the revolutionary record label Jazz Is Dead with Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest). Jazz Is Dead redefines collaboration in contemporary music by having Younge and Muhammad compose and produce for living legends of jazz, funk, and Brazilian music.
Something About April III marks the culmination of a trilogy inspired by Brazilian music and culture. Following his recent album São Paulo and the expansive Jazz Is Dead collaborations with Brazilian icons, this project is a testament to Younge’s deep knowledge of classic psychedelic Brazilian music and his visionary approach to analog music in a modern world.
