Watford Palace Theatre Spectacular Autumn Season

Watford Palace Theatre announces a packed autumn season of drama, comedy and live music!

Watford Palace Theatre is gearing up for a jam-packed autumn season with a rich programme of chilling thrillers, spectacular family entertainment, live music and comedy. A bold new adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic A Picture of Dorian Gray (1st – 3rd October) from Tilted Wig, in association with Watford Palace Theatre, headlines the season, showcasing Wilde’s dazzling wit and dark imagination. Chiller - It Walks Around The House At Night (13th November) from ThickSkin Theatre gives audiences a scare in this gripping psychological thriller.

One of Watford's most anticipated times of year, their renowned annual pantomime returns with A Christmas Carol: A Pantomime (29th November – 3rd January). Packed with sparkle, laughter and a unique Watford twist. Early bird prices are now available for £15 until 31st August.

Comedy also takes centre stage with an acclaimed line-up of laugh-out-loud talent with comedian Tez Ilyas in Tez Ilyas: Tez Things I Hate About You (5th September). Gary Delaney returns in Gary On Laughing (10th October) Barry From Watford - Shooting From The New Hip (15th October) and Simon Evans: Staring At The Sun (17th October).

Live music lights up the stage with Fastlove (8th October), Too Much Too Young (9th October). An Evening with John Lydon (20th October) and Whitney By Candlelight (22nd October) in a stunning candlelit setting. TV star Ore Oduba recreates the sounds of the 50s and 60s in The Vintage Boys Rock 'n' Roll Show (28th October). Theres The Opera Boys (30th October) with Paul Potts and The Elvis Years (5th November) rounds off the music programme.

For younger audiences and families, there’s My First Concert (6th September) and Dinosaur Adventure Live (27th October), while Science Museum: Space Explorers Academy (14th November) blasts young audiences on an epic theatrical journey through space.

The season also offers football fans the chance to hear from some of the sport's biggest names. An Evening with Manchester United Legends Steve Bruce & Gary Pallister (7th October) and An Evening with Tottenham Legends (29th October) reunites Glenn Hoddle, Chris Waddle, Ossie Ardiles and Steve Perryman. Watford Palace Theatre will also be screening all England games from the World Cup 2026 at the venue.

Watford Palace Theatre will also continue their regular 1908 Cabaret nights, hosted in their stylish, inclusive cabaret venue for artists, communities, and good times, boasting a rotation of open mics, karaoke and quiz nights.
