Apollo Theatre

The Apollo Theatre is in the heart of London’s West End on Shaftesbury Avenue and is a stunning Grade II listed theatre. Designed by the architect Lewin Sharp, this Grade II listed theatre was named after the Greek god of the arts and leader of the muses and was specifically designed for musical entertainment. The theatre opened with the American musical comedy The Belle of Bohemia and has since followed with notable productions including Rain Man, Jerusalem, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

The Apollo Theatre became part of Nimax Theatres in 2005 and has a seating capacity of 658, making it a beautifully intimate venue. Built across three levels, the Stalls, Dress Circle and Grand Circle all offering a range of great views throughout the auditorium.

The Stalls are accessible via a few steps down from street level, and afford the best views in the auditorium. Even seats located toward the rear of the seating offer excellent, unrestricted views of the stage.

The Dress Circle is located a few steps up from the theatre foyer, and provides excellent views of the stage. Prices vary throughout this section, although central seats are priced similarly to the Stalls, due to the excellent views and limited restrictions

The Grand Circle is the highest level of the auditorium and is typically cheaper in price, although good views are on offer throughout.
