London Eye

The London Eye is located on South Bank, on the southern side of the River Thames, directly opposite the Palace of Westminster. From the top, visitors can see many of London’s most famous landmarks, including Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, and St Paul’s Cathedral. The attraction also provides impressive views across the River Thames and the wider London skyline. A full rotation of the London Eye takes around 30 minutes, with the wheel rotating slowly, allowing visitors plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photographs of London’s landmarks.

Running from 27 March to 4 May 2026, the iconic observation wheel is celebrating the arrival of spring by transforming its glass capsules into flower filled sanctuaries, giving guests a completely new way to experience the city from 135 metres above the River Thames. Inside each pod, floral installations and soft blossoms frame sweeping views, creating picture-perfect moments at every turn. A narrator brings the season to life, pointing out cherry blossoms near St Paul’s Cathedral and the royal floral heritage around Buckingham Palace. This is more than something to see as subtle scents of spring fill the pod and complement the sights and sounds of the city waking from winter. Immersive, uplifting, and uniquely London.
