Walk for Women

Manchester City Centre

Organised by Manchester City Council itself, the city’s annual Walk for Women is an amazing opportunity to have your voice heard and stand strong in a crowd of female power! Both men, women and other are welcome to join the council on this march - you just have to be a proud supporter of women to qualify. You’re invited to make as much noise as possible to claim this space, so feel free to bring along fun, safe and noisy instruments for the day. To get involved, meet outside Manchester Cathedral at 12pm on 7 March for a walk commencing at 12.30pm. The route will take you right through the city centre to St Peter’s Square where you’ll find a female-led marketplace. Networking, performances and activities that focus on health, employment, education and more is a great spot to unwind on this International Women’s Weekend!

Walk for Women takes place on Saturday 7 March 2020, meeting outside Manchester Cathedral at 12pm. Click here for more info.
