Depot Mayfield’s Freight Island becomes Winter Island this Christmas time, and the Twilight Trail has been set up to dazzle visitors with more than 50,000 lights in the captivating installations across 6.5 acres in Mayfield Park - perfect for a family outing or a romantic date. The trail itself is fantastically affordable, and its location within Mayfield Depot, with all the street food and entertainment that entails, makes for a great day out this Christmas.
As well as the light installations you will find lantern displays and a creative soundscape designed to enchant and inspire. Highlights include a laser garden casting shimmering beams across the park, a giant interactive boombox that brings a playful musical element, and "The Twist," an immersive pathway of spiralling lights. One of the standout features is a stunning spirograph-inspired tunnel, creating a magical environment for you to explore - and take loads of photos!
