Manchester Duck Race

Salford Water Sports Centre, 15 The Quays, Salford, Manchester M50 3SG | 29th March | 12.30pm
 
Quickly becoming a vital Easter tradition, the Manchester Duck Race is now in its 11thyear! Raising money for the children’s charity MedEqip4Kids, Manchester’s streets will fill with crowds of eager duck racers hoping to bag the big prize! Each rubber duck costs £2.50 and will be dropped at the Salford Water Sports Centre at 12.30pm on Good Friday. There will be prizes up for grabs for the winning ducks, and all attendees have the chance to vote for the best dressed Mega Duck - reputations are at stake!

Easter Egg Hunt and Craft Sessions at RHS Bridgewater

Occupation Rd, Worsley, Manchester M28 2LJ | 29th March - 14th April | 10am-4pm

On any day between Good Friday and April 14th kids (3+) can follow the hunt around the garden to find the hidden giant Easter Eggs - each egg has been hand painted by artists Cath Ford and Alastair Price based on designs by local school children. Once you’ve found all the eggs, you’ll be rewarded with a free chocolatey treat from NOMO - The UK’s No. 1 Vegan & ‘Free From’ Chocolate Brand.

Then there are special drop-in sessions on Tuesday 2 April, Thursday 11 and Friday 12 April between 12.30pm and 3pm in the Events Marquee; on the Tuesday, come and design Carrot Cards to give to a friend or family member to celebrate Spring time. On Thursday and Friday kids can design their own Easter egg coasters!

Easter Family Fun at Elizabeth Gaskelll’s House

84 Plymouth Grove, Manchester M13 9LW | 31st March - 11th April (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) | 11am-4.30pm (last entry 3pm)

Visit the Manchester home of Elizabeth Gaskell, one of the UK’s most prominent Victorian writers, where for no extra fee the kids can get stuck in with some great craft activities, like making their own crafty cup chick or beautiful bunny. The house also has a ‘do touch’ policy so the majority of items in the House can be touched and chairs sat on!

Adults are £7.50 per person and under 16s go FREE with a paying adult.

Easter Hunt at Dino Falls Adventure Golf

Old Park Lane, Trafford City, Manchester M17 8PG | 29th March - 7th April | 7am-10.30pm

Little ones are invited to 'hop into Easter fun' at Dino Falls Adventure Golf; there's an Easter Hunt from March 29 to April 7 where families can discover hidden treasures scattered across the courses and snap a pic to claim a prize. There's also a special offer running for early birds - kids go FREE on rounds played before 10am between April 1 and 5.

The Jungle Book at Factory International
