The legendary London label has now come of age, with massive birthday celebrations abound at Farringdon's fabric.
Originally a webzine launched by Kode9 in 1999, Hyperdub became its own label in 2004 and has since gone on to release records from artists including Martyn, Dean Blunt, Samiyam, recent Grammy award recipient Flowdan, DJ Rashad, Zomby, and most notably Burial.
The label has become one of UK underground's most well-recognised labels, becoming metonymous with minimal dub, dark garage, and alternative dance scenes in London.
Now, for its 20th birthday, a big bash is in order. The line-up features label heavyweights as well as acquaintances, well-wishers, and other such happy wanderers: AYA, Cooly G, Fiyahdred, Ikonika, Jessy Lanza, Karen Nyame KG, Kode9 with a history of Hyperdub set, all in room one.
Room two has Leon Vynehall curating, with him playing his own set later on in Club Fitness, the third room.
