An Absurdist Archive of Isolation

Book tickets

18 February to 7 March 2021
The Lowry in Salford will host the premiere of a new radio play, An Absurdist Archive of Isolation, on its online platform, with its premiere on Thursday 18th February. The play was created by Manchester-based choreographers and performing artists, Bridget Fiske and Joseph Lau, in partnership with the Hague-based contemporary composers, musicians and performance makers Stephanie Pan and Stelios Manousakis.
The start of the show will be a member of the audience with the aim of putting them at the centre of the show. It combines movement, electronic music and contemporary storytelling to give a new visualisation of the audience member’s home. The interactive show can be followed by audiences through listening to the play on the radio or reading the visual score and following a series of instructions that transform and reveal spaces and objects in the audience member’s home.
