Great news has been announced for the arts industry with the likelihood for this years BBC PROMS going ahead in line with covid restrictions. The BBC Proms is a classical music festival held every summer at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Proms stands for a promenade of concerts with the aim to bring the best in classical music to the widest possible audience. 
 
This event will offer a stage for leading musicians, singers orchestras and soloists from across the world. BBC PROMS was funded by conductor Henry Wood who believed in making the best quality classical music available to the widest possible audience. This is a significant event in British Culture and in classical music. 
 
Worried about travel? You can travel to the Royal Albert Hall by tube, bus or taxi. The closest tube stations include South Kensington and Gloucester Road. 
 
Tickets are available to purchase online and you can buy a standing ticket in the central arena or high-up gallery for just £6! A summers day well spent that can’t be missed. However, if you’d rather enjoy the spine-tingling classical music from the comfort of your own home or garden, many radio stations including BBC Radio 3 will be streaming some of the performances.
