The fairy tale magic is back – and this Christmas, the Grand Theatre Blackpool presents a pantomime that’s truly fit for royalty… So prepare for glitter, glamour and gasp-out-loud glee when the curtain rises on the most fabulous, star-studded production yet: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, running from Friday 05 December 2025 to Sunday 04 January 2026.

Tiktok star and stage sensation Kitty Harris (Greatest Days, Chicago, Burlesque the Musical) joins the cast by popular demand after wowing Grand audiences last Christmas in Cinderella – who can forget her incredible Defying Gravity number? Kitty will once again be showcasing her incredible vocals, sparkling stage presence and infectious energy as the enchanting village girl Belle who has big dreams and an even bigger heart, and certainly doesn’t want to marry the outrageously egotistical Hugo who loves himself more than anyone else…

Also joining the cast this year with high heels, high kicks and high-octane charisma is none other than Blackpool Icon, Betty Legs Diamond (as Polly La Plonk), a Blackpool legend and the undisputed queen of cabaret. Betty joins Marc Baylis - beloved by millions as Coronation Street’s brooding Rob Donovan and now set to thrill audiences in his panto debut as Hugo Pompidou – a smooth villain with a flair for mischief and mayhem. And of course, Blackpool’s favourite funny man is back! Steve Royle, comic genius, Britain’s Got Talent finalist and reigning Best Comic at this year’s UK Pantomime Awards, returns with his usual whirlwind of chaos, comedy and heart.

Written by award-winning pantomime genius Jon Monie whose storytelling ensures laughs for all ages. And with breathtaking choreography by Katie Hill, performed by dancers from Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre, the show is packed with glitz, glamour and unforgettable routines.

Every corner of the Grand Theatre will be drenched in festive fantasy, with stunning sets, magical transformations and showstopping effects creating an unforgettable world of wonder.
