Suffolk’s pioneering music, arts and heritage charity Britten Pears Arts are reopening the  Red House and Snape Maltings. From 12th April, the shops and covered outdoor café at Snape Maltings will be open, and River trips along the Alde will resume. There will be a refreshed selection of interior themes, nature inspired books and cards, and Spring collections from Samphire Boutique. The Maltings Gallery will also be open with the exhibition All Nature Has a Feeling by Carol Saunderson. From April 13th, The Red House garden will be open once again for the public to enjoy (11am-4pm, entry is free of charge), and from Friday 16th April, the delicious stone-baked pizzas will  return to the Tipi – book your table online.

From Monday 19th April, the first line-up of concerts for the end of May will be released, an exciting milestone after a year without live music and arts. Britten Pears Arts income has been devastated by the impact of Covid-19 due to closure and cancellations, support is vital so that they can continue to provide incredible musical experiences and inspirational performance. Be sure to visit the beautiful gardens, enjoy a river trip from the historic quay at Snape Maltings or show support by donating on their website.
