London is opening up again and Elephant & Castle is welcoming its community back with open arms. From this April, Elephant & Castle will be providing a range of fun-filled activities for Londoners to enjoy. Their new shopping destination, Castle Square, will be providing free, live entertainment across the weekend of the 15th of April, all socially distanced of course! This is located at 40 Elephant Rd, London, SE17 1EU, just a short walk from both Elephant & Castle overground and tube stations.

Many delicious local restaurants such as Pizzeria Pappagone, TUPI, Coma Y Beba, Kaieteur Kitchen, El Guambra, Original Caribbean Spice and Daddy O’s will also be opening for outdoor dining and takeaways and traders offering fashion, textiles, electrical products, and services will also be finally reopening. Support local and celebrate the easing of lockdown restrictions with a tasty meal and walk around Castle Square.

For those at home, The Elephant and Castle Community Hub operates entirely online, hosting free virtual wellness activities, fitness classes and arts & crafts workshops for the local community and all the family to enjoy. The Virtual Community Hub has teamed up with local charity Art in the Park to bring Fairy-tale Children workshops, which are free creative workshops including storytelling, drawing and prop making. The Hub will also continue to offer free virtual arts and crafts workshops, including exciting sessions on optical illusions. For more information on these activities, visit Elephant & Castle’s Virtual Community Hub & Facebook.
