Full Cast Announced for Shaw Sports at Orange Tree Theatre.

The wait is over… Orange Tree Theatre has finally announced the full casts for Shaw Sports: How He Lied to Her Husband and Overruled – a double bill of Bernard Shaw’s short plays. Shaw has written more than sixty plays in his lifetime, including the famous Heartbreak House and Man and Superman. He was also awarded the 1925 Nobel Prize in Literature, so this incredible double-bill is not one to miss! This production will be directed by artistic director Paul Miller. This follows his hugely successful productions of Shaw’s Candida, Misalliance, The Philanderer and Widowers’ House. 

The extremely talented cast includes Joe Bolland (Henry Apjohn), Jordan Mifsúd (Teddy Bompas), Dorothea Myer-Bennett (Aurora Bompas) in How He Lied to Her Husband; and Alex Bhat (Gregory Lunn), Jordan Mifsúd (Sibthorpe Juno), Dorothea Myer-Bennett (Mrs Lunn) and Hara Yannas (Mrs Juno) in Overruled. 

The production opens on May 26th ’21, with previews from 22nd May, and it will run until June 26th. It will also be streamed live via OT On screen on 3rd&4th of June. The plays can be seen separately or together as a double bill, with each play around 40 minutes long. Check out the Orange Tree Theatre website for the full performance details. Tickets: £15 for one play or £25 for both plays or double-bill performances.
